Frontier Veterinary Hospital has been the premier destination for veterinary care in Hillsboro since 1947. We take our mission of “caring for your pets and family as our own” seriously. Our current facility was custom built in 2003 and has been remodeled to expand our hospital to meet the needs of the rapidly growing population of our city. While we’re not always hiring, we do always accept resumes for veterinary professionals looking to advance their career at our hospital.
We are a full-service hospital open 7 days a week that values the relationships we have with our clients and the positive working environment that we have with each other. Here at Frontier, we are part of a close-knit community that supports each other in and out of the hospital. We have an amazing culture and are proud of how that sets us apart from other hospitals. We employ highly-trained support staff to carry out our doctors’ treatment plans, allowing our veterinarians more time for client communication. We also employ a well-rounded management team that supports our entire clinical team by facilitating customer service challenges, leadership, and vision for the hospital. We’ll let you do the job you love, and let us help you avoid burnout and compassion fatigue.
We are part of the national veterinary community through our AAHA accreditation and are designated an AAFP Cat Friendly Practice with Gold status. Our hospital offers an advanced level of medicine including digital radiography (including dentistry), in-house lab, ultrasound, and advanced surgical equipment with laparoscopic capability. We also maintain a close relationship with our neighboring specialists and emergency clinics in the greater Portland area.
