Britt

Britt joined our team in June of 2024.

Why did you decide to work at Frontier? I chose to work at Frontier because of my passion and true love for animals. From a young age, I have always been drawn to animals and dedicated to their well-being. I wanted to build a career that allows me to positively impact their lives every day. Frontier provides the perfect environment for me to fulfill this dream. Their commitment to animal care, innovative approaches, and strong client/patient care focus align perfectly with my personal values and professional goals. At Frontier, I have the opportunity to grow, learn, and contribute to a cause I wholeheartedly believe in.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job? The most inspiring part of my job is witnessing the dedication and expertise of our doctors as they work with each unique patient. Every day presents new opportunities to learn from them, broadening my knowledge and equipping me with valuable insights to better care for my pets at home.

What do you think are the best skills that you bring to your job? I believe the best skills I bring to my job are my personable communication style, strong work ethic, empathy, and attention to detail. My ability to communicate effectively helps me connect with clients and colleagues alike, ensuring clear and positive interactions. My strong work ethic pushes me to consistently perform at my best for our clients/patients and our team. Having empathy allows me to understand and respond to the needs of both our clients and their pets, providing compassionate care. Lastly, my attention to detail ensures that I perform day-to-day tasks in a manner that significantly enhances everyone’s efficiency and experience.

What do you think is your coworkers’ favorite thing about working with you? I think my coworkers’ favorite things about me are that I am very honest, I truly care for everyone, I’m a quick learner, I enjoy laughing and having a good time, I am very detail-oriented and I’m dependable.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? I don’t have advice but I have good quotes that I like!

“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift, that’s why it’s called the present.” – Master Oogway (lol)

“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind.” – Dr. Seuss

Tell us about your pets! After the passing of our 15-year-old Chiweenie named Izzy, my husband and I adopted our sweet baby boy Milo, a chihuahua mix! We also have a 10-year-old Lionhead bunny named Pepper! Milo is a super playful and sweet boy and loves peanut butter!  Pepper loves all the attention and thumps at us if he doesn’t get enough of it. His favorite treat is definitely a good banana. I love my fur babies and hope to add more to the family soon!

What are you happiest doing, when you’re not working? Outside of work, I am my happiest when playing sports, watching professional games, spending quality time with my husband and fur babies, and running my social media management business

If you could have any superpower, what would it be? If I could have any superpower, I would choose to be a Shapeshifter. Being able to transform into anything would be the ultimate power to explore and experience the world in limitless ways.

If you could invent a holiday, what would it definitely involve? If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve all the things I love about Christmas: decorating, festive music, exchanging gifts, enjoying delicious food, cherishing traditions, and hosting lively parties with loved ones. Basically, a second Christmas!

If we held an office talent show, you’d wow everyone with your skills at… I would wow everyone with my skills at juggling a soccer ball.
