We are so excited to announce the new addition to the Frontier Veterinary Hospital family – Dr. Michelle King! Dr. Michelle King received her B.A. (Hons) in Biology from Florida Gulf Coast University and her doctorate from Ross University College of Veterinary Medicine. She also completed a year of Clinical training at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals, The Royal Veterinary College in London, U.K. Dr. King comes from a proud Air Force family as has been fortunate enough to grow up all over the world.

Dr. King’s clinical interests include ophthalmology, animal welfare, and behavior. She worked extensively with international non-profit veterinary organizations in the Caribbean, Nicaragua and Costa Rica to provide pet health care to underserviced communities. Her research experience includes mapping feral cat colonies and the efficacy of trap- neuter- release programs in small island states.
