Camille

Meet Camille, one of our Technician Assistants. She has worked at Frontier since February 2021.

Do you have any nicknames?
A few friends call me Cami, but mostly I go by Camille.

In your words, what is your job at Frontier?
I work in treatment, assisting our veterinarians and vet techs with carrying outpatient treatment plans. I do things like administer vaccines, perform ear cleanings, take x-rays, collect samples for and run labs. Aside from the treatments themselves, it’s part of my job to help our patients have a positive experience while in our care.

Why did you decide to work at Frontier?
The kind and supportive staff. From my first interview, I was taken by the warmth of each and every staff member. Frontier is made up of a group of individuals so committed to our furry patients and their owners. I feel lucky to work with and learn from them!

Do you have any pets?
I have a senior pup named Toby. He was a foster failure after being rescued from a hoarding and neglect situation about 8 years ago. He’s a great road trip dog and has probably made the trip between the Portland area and California close to 20 times. He’s a good communicator too! I can ask him if he’s hungry, wants to go for a walk, play, pee, or go “night,” and he’ll respond to whichever he needs.

Tell us a little-known fact about you!
In my past life, my world revolved around fashion; I covered fashion shows, worked in brand marketing, and even designed clothing. These days I prefer the comfort of scrubs and sneakers.
