Meet Jo, one of our Certified Veterinary Technicians. Jo has worked at Frontier since November 2019.
Do you have any nicknames?
In your words, what is your job at Frontier?
I am a CVT. So I take care of our patient treatments, and I have started training for surgery so I can start doing dental cleanings soon!
Why did you decide to work at Frontier?
I had been looking for a job for a quite a while before I found Frontier. I was looking for a clinic that cares more about their patients than money, has top quality of medicine, friendly and qualified staff, and I found all those things at Frontier!
Do you have any pets?
I have two cats! My first ever cat is named Gideon (black and white, he also has a little mustache) and he is very opinionated little boy, who is constantly getting into trouble. He loves cuddling on my chest when its cold and is spoiled to bits. My second cat, Little Feet (tortie), started as a foster because she wasn’t doing well in the shelter. The first two weeks I had her home I didn’t see her because she was hiding. Once she got more comfortable and confident her sweet and loving personality came out, she is a true queen.
Tell us a little known fact about you!
I am originally from North Dakota, moved here in 2018 for the trees, mountains, and ocean! I love hiking, and plan on summiting Mount St. Helens this spring 2020.
I am a huge nerd, love everything that is comics, and sci fi. I go to Emerald City Comic Con in Seattle every year, and have been to multiple Harry Potter conventions.
