Client Service Representative

Meet Jessica, one of our Client Service Representatives. Jess joined our team in May 2019.

Do you have any nicknames?
Jess, Jess O., JoJo, J.O., JO, and 4 of 4 which is an extension of a Star Trek reference. I didn’t earn majority of these nicknames until I started working at Frontier.

In your words, what is your job at Frontier?
To help and serve clients as best as possible. It’s really nice walking into a building and the person sitting at the front desk is warm and inviting, has gone above and beyond or has been nothing but kind and understanding with whatever your needs are. Sometimes that person has made your day better, and that’s something I try and keep in mind when I’m helping clients.

Since being at Frontier I have tried to take on a few small projects here and there whether it be making sure that special food orders aren’t flooding our shelves in the back, or learning calligraphy for special cards.

Why did you decide to work at Frontier?
I was working at another vet clinic when my other half started working at our sister clinic in Beaverton, and he always talked about how great both clinics were. Things didn’t work out at the vet clinic I was at, and I came home one day and noticed that Frontier had open positions, and a couple days later I was working for Frontier!

Do you have any pets?
I have two cats and two dogs. Timmy and Tony are my DSH litter mates who are 13-years-old. My boyfriend and I decided to adopt them a couple years ago when we were working at an emergency clinic in Arizona. The boys were living at the clinic as retired blood donors.

Emma is a 4-year-old Patterdale Terrier mix, she’s full of energy and always wants to be by your side. She’ll attack you with playful handshakes and high fives if you ask her to.

Gemini is a 9-year-old Australian Shepherd, and she is not your typical Aussie. She is calm and quiet and will only talk at your request if it’s for food and going outside. She earned the nickname, “Danish eater” when I came home one day from work and noticed she had eaten an entire case of Costco danishes.
