Client Service Representative
Meet Jessica, one of our Client Service Representatives. Jessica joined our team in October 2017.
Hi Jessica! Do you have any nicknames?
Yes! My family calls me J and of course I get Jess and Jessie as well. When I was running cross-country and track my coach would call me by my last name since Jessica is such a popular name. At Frontier I go by Jessica, since Jessie was here first!
In your words, what is your job at Frontier?
I’m all about customer service. You will get me answering the phones and also checking in and out clients when working with a doctor. My main goal is to make sure that everyone has a positive experience coming in to Frontier. Our clients especially since I understand that things can be very overwhelming at times for you and your pet.
Why did you decide to work at Frontier?
The main reason why I wanted to work at Frontier was that I have always had a love for animals and at one point in my life I did want to be a veterinarian. I have a love for science and have been trying to figure out if I want to do human health care or animal. Currently the animals are winning!
Do you have any pets?
Yes, I currently have a six year old feisty bengal cat named Neligha. I also have an almost two year old border collie mix named Kohla who is all about his favorite orange ball. Needless to say I have a lot of energy at my house all the time for with both pets. Growing up I have chickens, gerbils, and a couple fish.
Tell us a little known fact about you!
I use to be in a program called 4-H and showed chickens. Yes, you read that correctly. I showed every year at the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe, WA till I aged out when I graduated High School. If you have ever seen the dog show on Thanksgiving, imagine doing that with a chicken. You would get judged on knowledge, how your chicken behaves and also how you handle your bird. After graduation, I came back to the fair for a couple years as a fit and show judge and also type. If you ever want to hear any stories, feel free to ask! I’m a little rusty with my knowledge, but always up for a chat about chickens.
I also used to live in Boston for three years. Living on the east coast is very different than living in the Pacific Northwest. The best part was being able to drive only an hour and be in a different state. When my fiancé and I lived there we visited Rhode Island, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, New York and also New Jersey. Even after all my travels, I am so happy to be home.
