Careers

Frontier Veterinary Hospital has been privately owned and operated since 1947. We take our mission of “caring for your pets and family as our own” seriously. Our current facility was custom built in 2003 and we have recently remodeled to expand our hospital due to the rapidly growing population of our city. We are currently seeking candidates for all positions to add to our practice.

We are a full-service hospital open 7 days a week that values the relationships we have with our clients and the positive working environment that we have with each other. Here at Frontier, we are part of a close-knit community that supports each other in and out of the hospital. We have an amazing culture and are proud of how that sets us apart from other hospitals. We employ highly-trained support staff to carry out our doctors’ treatment plans, allowing our veterinarians more time for client communication. We also employ a well-rounded management team that supports our entire clinical team by facilitating customer service challenges, leadership, and vision for the hospital. We’ll let you do the job you love, and let us help you avoid burnout and compassion fatigue.

We are part of the national veterinary community through our AAHA accreditation and VMG membership and are designated an AAFP Cat Friendly Practice with Gold status. Our hospital offers an advanced level of medicine including digital radiography (including dentistry), in-house lab, ultrasound, and advanced surgical equipment with laparoscopic capability. We also maintain a close relationship with our neighboring specialists and emergency clinics in the greater Portland area.
