Client Service Representative/Exam Room Assistant
Meet Anni, one of our Client Service Representatives/Exam Room Assistants. Anni has worked at Frontier since September 2019.
Do you have any nicknames?
Anni is my nickname! My full name is AnnaLisa, but Anni is quicker so I’ve always used it instead.
In your words, what is your job at Frontier?
My role at Frontier is as a Client Services Representative and Exam Room Assistant! As a CSR I get to have more face-to-face interaction with our clients and help answer phones, schedule appointments, set up rooms, checkout after visits, etc. As an ERA I get to go into the exam room with the Doctor and take notes for them as they do the exams! I’m very excited to have the position I do; since I come from a food service background, it’s very exciting and a nice change of pace to get to work with animals!
Why did you decide to work at Frontier?
I’d been thinking about going into veterinary medicine for a while, and one day I went on Indeed and saw a posting for a receptionist position at Beaverton Pet Clinic, our sister hospital. I applied and interviewed there, but ultimately ended up at Frontier! I’m very happy things turned out the way they did as I adore the staff, pets, and clients at Frontier.
Do you have any pets?
I have a 7 year old Icelandic Sheepdog named Spika. She is a fluffy black and white ball of energy and loves going on long hikes through the gorge! She’s very sweet and friendly, but she’s bad at making friends because she ignores everyone she meets in order to hunt for snacks. She’s the first dog my family has had, and we got her in June of 2019, so the dog life is still fairly new to us, but we are loving every crazy, hairy second of it!
Tell us a little known fact about you!
I love to draw! In highschool I took a few advanced art classes and one of my paintings won a contest and was hung in the state capital building in Salem for a year or so! I’ve gotten so busy since then between work and college that I’m a little rusty, but it’s still something I enjoy in my free time.
