Frontier’s getting an upgrade!

We’re Remodeling! Frontier Veterinary Hospital Hillsboro OR

Thanks to you and your referrals, we’re helping more pets and their families each year at Frontier. When we built this hospital in 2003 it was a huge upgrade from our original Baseline location in downtown Hillsboro, so we never dreamed we’d need more space… but now we do! To serve you better over the last 14 years on Cornell Road we’ve added more veterinarians and staff, and now it’s time to add more rooms in the hospital.

On April 24th, we will begin an interior remodel of Frontier which is set to be complete at the end of June.  During this time we will continue to provide all our services as usual and maintain our regular business hours.  The exterior structure of the hospital will not change and the majority of work will be done overnight when the hospital is closed, though you will still see our reception area in varying stages of transition. Boarding pets will be kept in areas unaffected by renovations so their overnight stay will remain safe and peaceful. Our patients, clients and staff always come first, so you can feel confident we will maintain the level of care you’ve come to expect from Frontier during the remodel.

Once complete, our remodel will provide:

  • 3 additional exam rooms
  • More exam rooms that can accommodate large dogs
  • A second cat exam room
  • Expanded cat boarding
  • A home in our lobby for adoptable cats from Bonnie Hays Animal Shelter
  • Better workspace for our staff… and more!

We thank you for your patience during this process and we know you’ll love our new look and enhanced ability to care for you and your family!

A Word on Parking

We love having delicious food next door, but as many of you have pointed out recently, the shortage of parking at our new neighbor has led to unauthorized cars on our property. With patients to care for and limited parking ourselves, we must ensure our clients are able to park safely in our lot, so we have taken steps to mark our lot as reserved for our clients only.  If you ever have difficulty finding parking in our lot, please call the front desk from your cell phone and a CSR will come out to help you.
